Physiotherapy

Injury Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation focuses on restoring and improving physical capabilities and movement mechanics, initially by reducing pain and promoting healing, and implementing a mobility and strengthening programme to prevent recurrence of injury.

A specifically tailored and comprehensive rehabilitation programme is assigned, with exercises and video demonstrations for ease of adherence.

Injury Prevention

Injury prevention, via a screening process, focuses on reducing the predisposition of injury, by identifying and improving areas of weakness.

Enhancing movement capabilities and mechanics, joint stability and control, and soft tissue strength, are some of the areas of weakness that we aim to improve through our Injury Prevention screening and guidelines.

Soft Tissue Massage

Soft tissue massage involves direct physical action on the muscle and other soft tissues of your body. It helps to improve overall flexibility and can lower the chances of developing a muscle injury. This type of massage involves stretching the muscle fibers, promoting flexibility and maintaining it.

Pre & Post Surgical Rehabilitation

The main aims of both pre & post surgery rehabilitation are to restore mobility, increase strength and improve functional ability. Everyone's goals are different, from returning to the pitch after knee surgery to walking for 30 minutes after a total hip replacement.
