Elite is a family run business, specialising in Health & Wellbeing, Fitness and Physiotherapy, based in Ballyboughal.


It is led by Stephen & Laura Harold, who have over 30 years of combined experience in their areas of expertise.

  • Can I use the gym for my own individual training?
    No, all sessions are provided under supervision only to Elite Members, Personal Training Clients and Physiotherapy Patients.
  • Can I pay as you go?
    Yes, you can pay as you go to Elite classes by paying for an Elite Class Pass and booking online via our app or website. However, it is recommended to purchase a membership for better value, and to avail of added benefits.
  • What is involved in the Elite Classes?
    Our classes consist of a mixture of strength and conditioning exercises, tailored for all capabilities.
  • How many people are there in an Elite Class?
    Maximum of 12 people.
  • How do I book an Elite Class?
    You can book through our website or app.
  • Do I need to have a good level of fitness before I attended Elite classes?
    No, all exercises are tailored to suit each participant’s individual capability.
  • What happens if I cannot make my scheduled session?
    You must provide us with minimum 12 hours notice if you can’t attend. Otherwise, you will lose your session For physiotherapy appointments, a 50% fee will apply, if less than 12 hours cancellation notice is given.
  • Can I pause my membership?
    Yes, you can suspend your membership when you provide us with 24hrs notice.
  • Can I purchase extra classes on my membership if I want to attend more classes within the month?
    Yes, you can purchase a class pass or upgrade your membership.
  • Is there an unlimited number of memberships available?
    No, we only offer a limited number of memberships to ensure there is sufficient availability for our current Elite members. Once the number has been reached, memberships are no longer available.
  • Can I purchase personal training online?
    Yes, however it is important to contact Elite first before purchasing to ensure there is availability. There is limited availability for personal training services.
  • Can I book for a Physiotherapy appointment online?
    Yes, you can request an appointment online by checking availability or making contact. Once you receive confirmation, your appointment is booked.
  • Is there a shower and changing room facilities?
    Yes we have 1 shower, toilet and changing room facility onsite. We recommend that you come prepared to your sessions, as our changing/shower room only accommodates 1 person.
  • Is there onsite parking?
    Yes, to the rear of our premises there is a small car park with limited spaces. There is also on-street car parking within close proximity.
