Healthy Gut, Healthy Mind

Our Gut and Brain are linked. The Gut-Brain connection is no joke. What we eat controls our emotions, how we feel and how we act.

Serotonin is regarded as the happy hormone. It is considered as the ‘mood stabiliser’. Approximately, 90% of Serotonin is stored in the Gut. Recent studies found that people suffering from depression often have low levels of Serotonin.

What we eat directly affects our Gut Health and as a result our Happiness.

Here are some simple tips to help improve your Gut Health:

1. Eat More Whole Foods:

  • Unprocessed & Unrefined

  • No ingredients

  • No additives

  • Not in boxes, bags, jars or cans

2. Eat Less Processed Foods:

  • The product contains more than 5 ingredients

  • The product contains ingredients you would not cook with at home

  • The product contains any form of refined added sugar and/or artificial additives

  • The product contains refined grains - wheat and flour
